Serving The Community
As a past McHenry County Board member and resident of McHenry County for over 20 years I understand the challenges and opportunities that our community faces. I see the potential for growth and progress, but also the areas that require attention and improvement. It is this experience that has fueled my desire to again serve the residents of District 2 and contribute to the betterment of the community.
When elected, my primary focus will be on:
- Completion of the north end of the Randall Road Project, on-time and on budget.
- Working to ensure the Board considers the views of all its residents, not just those represented by the board majority.
- Ensure our elected officials enforce the laws of the State of Illinois and not succumb to their own personal beliefs or a particular ideology.
- Work to reduce county expenses, where appropriate.
- Maintain flat property taxes.
- Provide for increased spending in the areas of drug enforcement, mental health, and aging.
I firmly believe that by addressing these issues, we can create a stronger and more inclusive community for all. I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure that our community thrives and that the voices of all its members are heard and valued.

As a McHenry County Democrat I believe in working hard to build a better America, Illinois and McHenry County. I believe in the Democrat's dream that the economy should work for everyone, health care is a right and should be available to all, that diversity in race, religion, and sexual orientation is a strength not a weakness, and our democracy is worth defending.
